UBIQUITOUS KOREAN INTERNATIONAL SUPER STAR.

It’s already the 4th year since U-KISS’ debut. Wow. Time really flies. I felt like their 3rd anniversary was just yesterday. It has also been more than a year since the member change, something which is definitely a milestone in U-KISS’ and kissmes’ calendar.

4 years since Not Young. 4 years since Dongho cried on their debut stage.

They’re definitely “Not Young” anymore. U-KISS has gone through so many ups and downs in their career, and every single of one us should know the pain they have been through. Training so hard, yet never getting the #1 award even once. We all know they’ve come a long way, having to endure copyright problems, the member change, and also the disappointment whenever they don’t get a place on the top charts. Now, in Japan, U-KISS is enjoying more success than ever, but there are 2 people who haven’t been able to share that success with them. Yes, they once ventured into Japan before, even getting second on the daily oricon charts (correct me if I’m wrong) but U-KISS wouldn’t have gotten this far without Kibum and Xander.

We all miss the times when Xander was the umma of U-KISS. The foxy, cheeky and cheesy guy who always brings a smile to our faces. When Kibum scared us in U-KISS Vampire by getting a sweet from his bag when we all thought that he was going to pack up and leave.

Most importantly, we miss the friendship and brotherhood and love yknw what I mean hehehe ((hands up if you miss your otps T__T)) they had between them. I mean yeah it still exists but they don’t have the chance to show it. The bond between ot7 is really strong and it can  never be broken. Ever. No matter what happens. They’ve been through so much together. They’ve worked so hard, always wanting to give the best for their fans. Even after the member change, they had to stay strong and maintain a strong image for the fans. No matter how much it hurt. I believe they were hit harder than we were.

Do you remember all the hardships they had faced? Soohyun having to deal with his father’s death at a young age, face rejections one after another, and finally making it into U-KISS, yet still having insecurities about not performing up to standards, about his looks? Eli facing fraud contracts in China, he was really poor and he had to survive on cup noodles or starve even? Kiseop facing depression and was even on the verge of committing suicide? Not forgetting all the hardships they had faced as a group. It wasn’t easy for U-KISS to overcome all these barriers, to stand where they are now. They aren’t perfect, no one is, but they definitely gave their best.

They always thank us KISSMEs, because they think that they wouldn’t be standing where they are without us. But, U-KISS, in actual fact, we wouldn’t even be here without all of you. Always telling us never to betray them, not to cheat on them, because they don’t want to lose any of their fans.

Honestly, I don’t have any words that can fully portray how much I love U-KISS and how much I respect all 9 of them.

This also marks the 2nd year and 5th month of me being a kissme. The journey hasn’t been easy, but it has definitely been worth it. All the tears we shed for them, all the trolling in our fandom. Laughing with U-KISS, crying with them and sharing their pain. This fandom is simply amazing and I have never regretted entering it. All the friends I’ve made, has given me memories that I will never forget.

I feel so overwhelmed let me just hug everyone ;______;

Lastly, I would like to thank U-KISS for being who you are. You don’t have to change for others, change for the sake of becoming perfect. You are perfect as it is. You are all number one in our hearts. Look at the many kissmes in the pearlescent pink sea. You can fall back on us no matter what happens, I swear. We’ll always be here. Thank you for not giving up on all these 4 years, thank you for always persevering, thank you for being you. We will work harder, to let you get the top, the #1 title that all of us have wanted.

I love all of you so much you can’t even imagine. I love this fandom, KISSME. I love U-KISS. ♡
